There has been many bombs and killings, over the years 1968-2008. Over 800 people killed from bombs between the years 1968 and today. Although, travelers may have some dangers heading in that direction, attacks are usually targeted and aren't considered random acts of terrorism. I think that Spain is a very beautiful country from what I have seen in pictures and learned about. I do think that there will always be risks that you have to be aware of if traveling to a different country. If you are going to a place where a lot of problems have been going on, then be aware of your surroundings.
